Brazil Workshop

To enhance our learning in geography, a special visitor came into school to do a full day workshop all about Brazil. The children learnt lots of new facts whilst also recapping some they already knew. The children did this through dance, drama and song. A great day was had by all!

Learning the Recorder

In our music lessons, the children are beginning to learn how to play the recorder. They are using their previously learnt knowledge of notation and applying this to playing the different notes on their new instrument. The children are working hard to ensure their fingers are correctly placed to achieve the right note and sound.

Space Theme

Inputs and Outputs

In Year 5, we have been creating algorithms using a program called Crumble. We have been learning about input and output. Inputs are the signals or data received by a system and outputs are the signals or data sent from it.
